On a lovely summer summer’s evening on 22nd June Norfolk Camerata shared some operatic delights with a large and appreciative audience.  The programme included choral works by Puccini, Verdi and Mascagni and also featured Jonathan Stamp on the organ.  Singers and listeners alike felt that this was one of the most enjoyable concerts ever performed by the Camerata.  The Italian-style refreshments also went down a treat!

In July members of Norfolk Camerata made a return visit to Tamar House in Cromer to entertain residents of the care home with a selection of familiar songs and music.

For our summer concert on 22nd June 2024 we present A Night at the Opera, featuring favourite opera choruses and an operatic mass by Puccini.

Verdi: Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves and Grand March from ‘Aida’

and music by Mascagni and Rossini

Our next performance will be on Saturday 22nd June at St Nicholas’s Parish Church, North Walsham and will feature Puccini’s Messa di Gloria and some familiar operatic choruses.
