New acting Music Director……..
We are delighted that our accompanist and Assistant Music Director William Falconer has taken up the baton for this Autumn season to prepare the Camerata for what will be its first concert in two years: a candlelit Christmas concert at Trunch church, North Norfolk on 4th December. We are extremely grateful to William for stepping in as acting Music Director and enabling us to raise our voices once again.
Norfolk Camerata are singing again
We are pleased to announce that Norfolk Camerata recommenced rehearsals in September 2021, albeit with stringent COVID safety measures in place. We are currently meeting on Wednesday evenings at the RC Church of the Sacred Heart in North Walsham. Please arrive from 7.30 p.m. and be ready to start singing at 7.40 prompt. In the interests of social distancing please keep chat to a minimum before and after rehearsals.
Activities suspended due to covid-19
We are very sad to announce that our concert planned for St Cuthbert’s in Sprowston on 25th April has been postponed until further notice due to the outbreak of covid-19. We very much hope to reschedule this for a later date but are making no definite plans until the situation regarding the virus is clearer.
Rehearsals are also suspended until further notice.
The committee sends all good wishes to members, supporters and friends of Norfolk Camerata – and indeed to everyone – during this difficult time.
